The Theft of Lands
The Narlemarches is a dense watery forest area that holds the sources for the Thorn, Skunk, and Murque rivers, often so wet as to become a swamp. It is bordered on the North by the Rostlander Road reaching to Lake Hooktoungue on the West and the Kamelands to the East.
The Narlemarches has absorbed most of the trade into Brevoy from the South and West. The forest is home to many types of Fey who believe it is close to an inter-world barrier. To the south, all sorts of foul beast stalk the forest which often lead to the end of ancient civilizations when they felt too threatened by encroaching humanity.
In ancient times, the narlmarches is said to have been a stronghold of Erastil but his influence has waned in recent years as the land has fallen deeper into the hands of the wild and monstrous.
